Dyson - UX/UI Designer / User Researcher
(October 2019 - Present)

I lead User Experience testing and UI development across the US and Canada, coordinate with the Global Experience teams, Product Owners, and market stakeholders across the US, UK, Canada and Singapore. Create digital UI enhancements that are aligned with the Dyson Design System that are market specific or global enhancements. I create and run qualitative research testing with select participants to test new concepts, gather insights, or test existing trends gathered in customer qualitative feedback research.

• Deliver and present work to global teams and stakeholders.
• Create pixel-perfect high-fidelity mockups and prototypes as well as engineering builds for developer handoff.
• Instruct US and Canadian teams on accessibility best practices as well as accessabiity validation and usertesting.
• Study and report on website analytics from Google, and Adobe, inadition to heatmaping software.
• Facilitate screened participant testing with existing assets or prototypes.
• Mentor younger designers.

W.S. Darley & Co. - Web & User Interface Designer

In my role at W.S. Darley & Co. I am tasked with designing the User Experience and front end web presence of our 6 divisional websites, preform A/B testing, and optimize based on the conversion results of our users.

• I design and refine the user experience for our customers to allow them to experience more meaningful interactions across 7 divisional websites.
• Perform A/B testing and optimization for customer conversions based on webpage heat maps, and traffic analytics.
• Conduct user research, to bring ideas from initial design wireframes mockups to high fidelity prototypes.
• Creation of advertising campaigns ranging from email marketing and affiliate sites to social media.
• Development and construction webpages in ExpressionEngine, Magento 2.0 using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

MIDOPT - Production Engineer

I lead the engineering and R&D effort to meet goals for production as well as creation of new products.

• Design, research, and engineer new products, materials and parts for production to meet desired tolerances.
• Manage and operate multiple CO2 laser cutters, creation of 3D Printed prototypes and design drawings.
• Assist and work with the Production, Sales, and Marketing team members to accomplish projects on tight deadlines.
